How easily can you spot fake news?

AI-generated fake news has grown from a niche concern into a massive, automated industry, with researchers identifying over 2,000 "unreliable" AI-generated news websites operating across 16 languages as of late 2025.

The sheer volume of AI-generated content has created a "misinformation tsunami" that makes it likely that you have come across fake, AI-generated news or content. Researchers argue that the primarily motive for such news is financial.
